James Matthew Barrie, a Scottish novelist, best know for his invention of Peter Pan created Tinkerbell through his own creative imagination of how fairies came about:

“When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.”

Tinkerbell spotted on Hotel Walls!

No, not the real mischievous faerie, but a painting of her.  This is a great picture of Tinkerbell spreading pixie dust at the top of the walls.  “At night the dust glows, casting Tinkerbell’s magical light over the room.”

The most famous faerie of them all: Tinkerbell

Tinker Bell or Tinkerbell is a pixie from the famous Disney novel and animation, Peter Pan.  She plays a fickle character who sometimes is revengement and other times helpful to Peter.  Of all the faeries and pixies in pixyland, she is no doubt the most popular and that is why we are featuring her here.  Are you a fan of Tinkerbell?

 

Tinkerbell has been the official mascot for Disneyland/Walt Disney World and Mickey Mouse Club franchises.
